Lots of Bread and our BIG BIG God!
I have some really good, really great, really exciting news. Do you ever marvel at just how big and awesome our God is? Today is certainly one of those days! Our friends Jon and Amy Moffett were given a baby today!!! Her name is Amanda Joy she is 9 1/2 months old and weighs 14 pounds. Her grandmother has been looking since before her birth for the right parents to give her to and today they chose John and Amy! It's a long and wonderful story but the ending is the most wonderful part. We have a new Moffett in our 'family'.
Now about the bread.... Yesterday, Sarah and I made 18 bread items. Darrel had sold 12 at work and we sold 4 others and we made two for our family.
Who will help me mill the grain said Sarah. Who will help me mix the dough? Who will help me kneed the dough? Who will help me watch it rise? Who will help me bake the bread? The answer to all of these were her momma. Who will help me eat the bread? The answer was everyone who smelled it! I tried to talk Sarah into changing the name of the bread business to The Red Hen Sisters Bread Co. Thinking the story would be very cute, but she would not go for it. She wants to change it to The Three Sisters Bread Co or Three Sisters Better Breads.
We worked for several hours. We made 6 cinnamon rolls, 3 garlic cheese rolls, 5 loafs, and 4 dinner rolls. We were very very glad when it was all done. (11:45- 5:15 and then packaged it all from 9 - 930 or so.) Daddy delivered his to the people at work and Joshua delivered two of the ones due today. We do not deliver, but he was doing some other things in town anyway. We will take a couple to church tomorrow night. (frozen)
Crazy enough, we made three more things today: 2 cinnamon rolls and one loaf. Then we ran completely out of yeast. (But Daddy came to the rescue and picked us some up on his way home from work. Yeah Daddy.)
So I will end this blog entry with this blessing upon you.
"Deut. 28:5 "A blessing upon your grain-basket and kneading bowl."
Be Blessed!

Do you think that you could post some of the prices for the different items that you make on your website?
